FIELD, LABORATORY, COMPUTER & TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FACILITIES ALO owns the necessary field, lab, computer, and telecommunications equipment & facilities to complete field surveys, inventories, evaluations, nominations, and reporting. Project-specific equipment & supplies are purchased or rented as needed. INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS * University of Minnesota’s Limnological Research Center (LRC) for buoyant sampling platforms, aquatic-sediment and water sampling equipment, and state-of-the-art laboratory for sediment, water, and isotope analyses. * Braun Intertec Corporation for its research-grade environmental laboratory with a variety of microscopy and elemental-analysis capabilities (SEM & TEM, X-ray, spectroscopy, etc.) and variety of manual soil boring and truck-mounted drill-rig capabilities for continuous, terrestrial sediment samples. * In addition to owning/operating ALO and maintaining strategic relationships in the Upper Midwest, Ollendorf is an on-call employee of three companies giving her broad exposure in domestic and worldwide markets.
